Isparta is one of Turkey's leading apple-producing provinces. The area around Gelendost and Egirdir — moderated by Lake Egirdir, high in altitude and marked by a wide day-night temperature swing — is among the most favourable apple basins in the country. That temperature swing feeds colour development and the sugar-acid balance directly, which is where the firmness and aroma of Isparta apples come from.

Why Apples Grow Better in Gelendost
An altitude close to 1,000 metres and the moderating effect of Lake Egirdir create an ideal growing season for apples. Warm days followed by cool autumn nights deepen fruit colour and build firmness.
Soil structure and irrigation water quality matter just as much. Our partner growers use drip irrigation, and we follow the nutrition programme per parcel together with them through regular soil and leaf analyses.
Modern Orchards, Measured Quality
The orchards we work with favour dwarf and semi-dwarf planting systems, which let yield per tree and fruit quality be managed together. The system also eases harvesting and improves colouring by increasing sun exposure.
Partner orchards are protected by hail nets. In Isparta, hail is the single largest risk capable of costing a season overnight; netting removes that risk from the supply plan.
After Harvest: Storage and Packing
Harvest dates are set per variety from starch and firmness measurements. Picking is done by hand; every lot arriving at the facility passes intake control and enters the cold chain the same day.
Fruit held in controlled-atmosphere rooms goes through the optical grading line at order time, is separated by size, colour and quality class, and is prepared for dispatch in the requested packaging.

Domestically we supply retail chains, wholesale markets and the juice industry. Internationally we ship container loads to a wide range of markets, led by India, the United Arab Emirates and Malaysia.
