We select apples from trusted partner growers in Isparta and prepare them for container export at our own packing and cold storage facility.

MOONFRUIT builds strong partnerships with trusted growers it has worked with for many years across Turkey's leading apple regions. Because intake control, cold storage, optical grading and packing all happen at our own facility in Gelendost, Isparta, every export lot leaves with the same calibration and quality-class standard.

Price is not the only thing that decides an apple export relationship. Buyers need uninterrupted supply through the season, repeatable quality per lot, correct packaging and disciplined loading dates. Our grower partnerships and our own facility let us run the whole chain from orchard to container, which is what lets us commit on all four.

Varieties We Export

We export Gala, Fuji, Red Delicious, Granny Smith and Golden Delicious. Each variety has its own harvest window and storage behaviour, so we advise on variety and calibration based on the destination market and delivery schedule.

Gala leads the early-season loadings, while Fuji and Granny Smith carry programmes deep into the season thanks to controlled-atmosphere storage. Golden and Red Delicious are graded separately for markets with strict colour and size expectations.

Calibration, Packaging and Labelling

Fruit is separated by size, colour and quality class on the optical grading line. Export lots commonly run 65-70, 70-75, 75-80 and 80-85 mm calibrations; other ranges can be prepared on request.

Packaging options include telescopic cartons, alveolar trays, plateaus and bins. Private-label printing and pallet labelling are applied on request. Pallet configuration is planned for 20ft and 40ft reefer container loading.

Cold Chain and Shipping

Harvested fruit enters the cold chain the same day and is held in controlled-atmosphere rooms. Before loading, the fruit is pre-cooled, container temperature is set per variety, and the cold chain is never broken during loading.

Shipping is planned per order. We load to Middle East destinations by road and to India, Malaysia and other distant markets by sea. Sharing samples and photos before loading is our standard practice.

How the Export Process Works

It starts when the buyer shares variety, calibration, volume and delivery date. We respond with a quotation and samples. Once agreed, the production plan and loading calendar are confirmed by both sides.

Export documents are prepared together with the shipment. Additional certificate requirements are reviewed at the start of the process.

What is the minimum export order?

We work in container units. One container load is generally the minimum; mixed-variety loads are considered per order.

Do you pack under the buyer's own brand?

Yes. After optical grading we apply packing with the buyer's own cartons, labels and pallet layout.

Do you send samples?

Yes. At the quotation stage we share samples representing the target calibration and quality class, along with detailed product photos.
